FAQ > Worship > Why colorful lights during worship?
When the Apostle John saw Jesus, he described what he saw...
He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance....Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. Revelation 4:3,5
We try to make the service of worship as beautiful as possible, because that also seems to be the environment of heaven. Of course, we are not worshiping the colored lights, nor do we need them to worship. We worship God. But we know that around His throne is unparalleled beauty which flows from His presence, and we can't wait to be there.
If Heaven is a symphony of worship to God, we are in the dress rehearsal.
