We strongly emphasis worship because we are beings of worship (Acts 17:28; Romans 11:36), and God's infinite beauty and perfections command worship from us (John 4:23; Psalm 19:1).
We devote half of the service to this.
The reason we devote so much time to worship after the sermon, is to allow us to reflect on the Scriptures as we press in to worship, instead of bursting out the door to grab coffee. This is often the time of the service that the Holy Spirit does so much heart work in us.
