We're approaching a new season in the life and gathering of Adorn! It's been a sweetened sprint through the epistle from Paul to the Romans, as we've studied theology for the past 22 months together.

But it was only a sprint. What's coming next is a marathon.

In the next few weeks to come (between June 25th - August 20th), we will be laying out the long-term vision for Adorn, as the leadership and I have felt led of God to do. It will be strenuous. It will be demanding. It will be satiated with incompareable joy. I say this last one in confidence, because it will be Christ that we chase together as we seek to make Him look like the treasure that He really is.

All that we ask of you is that you not miss out on this season. We implore you to be a deeply connected part of the gathering that loves you so much, for God is moving among us and we believe that it has only begun--The marathon is still ahead. So be sober-minded, alert, in love with Christ, and come ready to seek the Lord as He manifests His fame throughout the world in His Son, Jesus Christ, and through us, the church that was purchased with His very own blood.

After much prayer, effort, and organization, we are now launching the first phase of the carpool system!

Isaac and Joann will be organizing drivers to Isla Vista, Westmont, and Ventura College for those who have no way to get to Adorn. Drivers are limited, so if you already have a ride, it is advisable that you continue using them. But if you're stranded, we would love to pick you up and take you to Adorn!

We will be having gatherings this Friday, however these will not be normal Adorn gatherings. We will be joining the rest of the body in reflecting on the cross of Jesus Christ. There are three gatherings on Friday:

• 6am (Lazo speaking)
• 12 Noon (Ryan speaking)
• 7pm (G speaking)

They will be one hour long, and all of them will be a different reflection of the suffering of Jesus. Come!

Reality is putting on a benefit concert will be put on for the Humbles family, as Karen battles cancer. Special guests will be Britney Christian, and Dominic Balli. When one suffers we all suffer.
